چکیده

Geophysical methods for local rock burst prediction are currently being developed along two lines: improving recording equipment and data processing methods. Progress in developing is constrained by the lack of informative prognostic models that describe condition mass, process mass fracturing, phenomena can substantiate choice both criteria test parameters give an estimate time remaining until pressure manifestation. Rock blocks.

Consider representation theory associated to symmetric groups, or to Hecke algebras in type A, or to q-Schur algebras, or to finite general linear groups in non-describing characteristic. Rock blocks are certain combinatorially defined blocks appearing in such a representation theory, first observed by R. Rouquier. Rock blocks are much more symmetric than general blocks, and every block is deri...

Simulation Analysis on the Strength and Acoustic Emission Characteristics of Jointed Rock Mass

Original scientific paper To analyse the influence of joint angle, number and spacing on the strength and acoustic emission (AE) characteristics of rock mass, the uniaxial compression model of rock specimens was established using the micro particle flow PFC2D software platform. The intact rock parameters were determined via trial and error, joints with different angles, numbers and spacing were...

evaluation of rock mass deformability

One of the most important effective parameters in design of engineering structures is deformability of rock mass. Benchmark of rock mass deformability is the deformation modulus that directly or indirectly obtained. Since the determination of rock mass deformation modulus indirect method by in-situ tests is time-consuming, costly and difficult from executive operations aspect, so it’s correctly...

Stress Measurement in Rock Mass

Understanding and estimating the rock stress state has become increasingly important as nowadays numerical models are mainly used as rock engineering design tool. The objective in determining rock stresses may, in many cases, be seen as an interactive process. The type of data needed may change, depending on at what stage an underground project is in. Further more, preliminary measurements may ...

Developing a Matlab Code for Determine Geometry of Rock Mass Blocks and Its Applications in Mining and Rock Mechanic Engineering

Various geological processes such as tectonic activities develop fractures and discontinuities in the rock mass body; these, in turn, form blocks with different shapes and sizes in the rock mass body. Accurate understanding of these blocks' geometry is essential in different domains of rock and mine engineering such as determination of yield in quarries, optimization of fragmentation energy, th...
